Goodish ribs. We bought 3 dinners and one was tough one was too done and one was simple amazing. Shame they were not all awesome. The salad was perfect and home style. Loved our waitress she was very good and fixed the few things that were wrong with our orders. Baked beans could have been cooked longer for my taste but that might be how they make them. The mac and cheese was great as was the corn bread and garlic toast. Over all would visit again.

This is hands-down my favorite Sonny's BBQ location! All of the host and wait staff are very welcoming and accommodating - always giving a warm smile and friendly hello whenever I walk in. Their salad bar is always clean, tables always bussed quickly, and the entire restaurant is a pleasure to be in. My food always arrives to the table fresh and exactly as I ordered it - with only minimal feedback that is always met with eager and responsive ears. Overall, I'm always satisfied when I visit this Sonny's BBQ and will be a happily returning customer for years to come. I recommend this restaurant for anyone in the Gainesville or Alachua area, even motorists that are looking for a good place to eat as they pass by on I-75.
Love Sonny's BBQ you can't go wrong there and if you're in Jacksonville Florida try Bono's BBQ at Lane Avenue and Interstate 10 right off the exit absolutely awesome
