Wanted to say the staff was more than delightful to work with and after using several other storage units locally they are by far the cleanest and most accessible units. They went out of their way to accommodate me and my requests. Thanks for all the help Alachua Self Storage!!!
At the end of the day, I accomplished what I needed to do by getting a moving truck. However, the two women working behind the counter the day I went in were impersonal and rude. One of the ladies would speak to the other woman, asking questions about me as if I was not in the room and as if she wasn't able to ask me herself when she was capable of such. I had to email the company my insurance card. When the women behind the counter did not see the document in their inbox it almost felt like they were scolding me when asking if I had sent the document. I was then asked to provide a deposit for gas. I offered them card since that was an option displayed on the desk. The lady dealing with me directly seemed to not know this and had to confirm with the other lady who then demanded for the lady directly dealing with me to take down the card number instead of swiping. The lady working directly with me noticed it was a bit odd and offered an explanation as to the decision for writing down the card number. Being the first time dealing with this, it was not welcoming or encouraging to come back.
