The employees that work inside the post office at the front desk are nice enough and are willing to help; however, the people that deliver the mail are abysmal. I constantly find mail for houses with entirely different address that aren't similar to mine in my box and it's extremely difficult to have a package delivered. Twice now I've read notices that the USPS worker tried to deliver my package but said I wasn't home, when this was entirely false as I was home all day.

I needed my package today, not on Monday 2 days from now. Also, they shouldn't be allowed to deliver packages on Saturdays after the post office closes since it closes at 11am on Saturdays. That way if a carrier doesn't deliver you can still go to the post office and pickup your package the same day. I am very disappointed in my postal carriers lack of service. He should be reprimanded for lying about trying to deliver when he never rang my door bell, or knocked on my door to try, and deliver. I was at my door waiting for him to show, and being that close to the door I would've heard him ring the bell, or seen him at my door.

I am very upset, and angry at the Alachua, Florida postman! He placed a note in my mailbox saying I wasn't available for a package to be signed for, and took my package with him. I was waiting at my door for him to show, but he never rang my door bell, or knocked on my door!!! He lied about me not being here, and didn't deliver because he was too lazy to park in my driveway, get out of his car, and come to my door, and ring the door bell.

When the post office was contacted about this they were extremely rude and nothing was done.

I honestly think they are some rude behind people who work behind those desk! My mail is fine. My packages get thrown in the yard because it's "Too big for the box"... And when you explain what's happening they always say "She didn't do it" or "it wasn't us" All I have to say is if my things get broken all hell will break loose!!!

They are always kind, very knowledgeable and helpful. I served in the Air Force all over the world... they are the best service I have ever received.

This post office refuses to deliver packages to your door that won't fit in the mailbox. They don''t even attempt it. I know because I am often home when they leave the "delivery attempt" notice. They need to fix this ASAP. I had a package that came on Saturday, but now I can't get it until Tuesday because of the Labor Day holiday. I wonder if complaining to a federal branch would help, since nothing is being done on the local level.
