Not worth the $100.+ Per night.
First the t.v. wasn't working, went to call front desk but the phone didn't work either. Plus there were roaches crawling on the walls.
They did move us to another room which didn't even have a phone in the room.
Overall, if they improved the Internet I would give a solid 4.5 stars. There's always room for improvement such as extra towels or wash cloths, a trashcan in the bathroom, etc.
The room was clean and comfortable. Breakfast was very good and in a large space. Hotel outdoor corridors could use a facelift...seem dingy.
Haven't used the pool or the breakfast, however the hotel is pet friendly which I think is nice, even though I don't have any pets with me.
The rooms are clean, however the wifi is trash. It took me a good 15 minutes of typing in the exact password they wrote down for us and it all of a sudden worked after telling me it was incorrect every previous attempt. Even after connecting, the connection is ridiculous. It will stay connected for up to 3 minutes and then just disconnect and you'll have to type the password in again.
A great stopover between Atlanta and south Florida.. nice clean room and good breakfast.. the pool and garden looked amazing!. We weren't in the area long enough to look around but I would definitely come here again.
My elderly mother escaped Irma and is staying here with others who also escaped Hurricane Irma. Michael, the manager is wonderful. He walked the halls all night during the power outage when the hurricane hit with his flash light making sure everyone was safe. He got 2 hrs. sleep. Other guests there talked about the poise and care that this man displayed under such pressure. They said he deserved a medal!
This the second year in a row that we've stayed here for a Florida Gators game, if you book early enough, you can get a decent price, but when I was checking in for my reservation, they were charging someone else $209 plus tax for one night, in my opinion the room isn't worth that much and I know it's just because the homecoming game is tomorrow, but that's ridiculous.
