I want to express HOW DEEPLY DISAPPOINTED I AM ON LOWE'S AS A BUSINESS.
I HAD ABSOLUTELY NO WAY TO PURCHASE THAT FRIDGE DURING HURRICANE IRMA, THE LAST THING I HAD ON MY MIND WITH A TREE THAT WENT THROUGH MY ROOF AND WITH NO POWER, NO WATER, NO WARM FOOD ...WITH A FIREFIGHTER HUSBAND WHO WAS CALLED INTO WORK... was buying that fridge...I guess I hoped for some compassion from Lowe's as a business...what a disappointment.
I purchased 15' of 8-3 wire. For my generator during Irma. Couldn't use it when I needed it, because the male plug I bought for it was defective. I paid over $ 2.00 per ft. They won't return it because it's cut to length. Now that wire will forever sit in my garage. Instead of being used. They pay pennies per foot for this wire, and someone who needs it could use it.They could even recycle it. Just not good policy. Poor customer service.
Employees very helpful and friendly! It's a big store but everyone we asked knew where everything we wanted was! They also asked if I was former military for a 10% discount!
Coming from a large retail background I check for customer service, cleanliness, and availability of the product I'm looking for. Each time I go to this Lowe's, they meet and exceed my expectations.
All personal were so friendly and helpful to everyone I saw. They were working as a team helping people load up plywood, water, and other supplies. They, too, have homes to prepare for this storm, but I did not hear one word of complaint. I love my Lowes in Alachua, Florida
Hello, I am a brand new mother and a Proud wife of an american firefighter...I am also a floridian...I would like to share with you about my today's experience with your customer service phone line and manager on duty at Alachua, Fl store. We needed a new fridge, we found one - 25.5 cu ft French Door Samsung that was on Labor Day sale for (I think $1,099.00), the sale price was valid until the 13th. I didnt have enough money at the beginning of the month, so I had to wait until the 9th of September ...unfortunately Hurricane Irma crushed my plans - we had a lot of trees down, we lost power and internet...I couldn't make my dream about the new fridge happen...we basically didnt have any communication available from the 10th till about 11pm on the 13th. This morning, the 14th, there was a new sale and the same fridge is now $1,650.00. I called your 1-800 number I explained my situation to customer service lady...she had to check multiple times on things with this purchase, and finally approved the initial Labor Day sale...when I was to pay, her and I got disconnected (by then we were already on the phone for 40 minutes)...I thought she will call me back, but I guess you guys do NOT have an option like that...after few minutes of waiting I decided to call back....OF COURSE I got someone else on the phone, I explained the new lady everything and, to my huge surprise - she said she wont do it, she wont honor what the initial lady agreed to!! I begged her, I told her I got disconnected and asked, if she please can do it for me...she then called Alachua Fl store and spoke with a manager on duty, she got back to me and said AGAIN they will not honor the sale price from the Labor Day.
